Maria Attra
President / CEO
Maria Attra has 20 years experience in business management working in the clothing industry and where she ran her own successful company for 12 of these years. In 1996 she sold her company, The Loft of Syracuse, New York, to a partner in order to raise a family. She later joined Kevcor in 2005 where she took over treasury functions and oversaw certain asset sales. Maria subsequently has learned and helped to grow Kevcor’s business taking control in 2011 as majority shareholder, President and CEO. She is responsible for overall corporate management and governance, strategic planning and investments, business development and relationship management with our major engineering and constructor clients.
B. Cory Attra, PE
Project Management and Controls
Cory has 30 years experience in project management and control of design / build, design and construction and his progression is through the ranks of trades and professionals, where he brings unique insight into the risks and challenges facing contemporary projects. His technical expertise is the design / build, public-private-partnerships, and structural engineering with project experience in roads, highways, bridges, airports, industrial process, wastewater, commercial, GSA, DOD, Homeland Security, and residential. His public-private-partnership experience includes tolled highways and military housing, and his design / build experience as Engineer of Record and Constructor includes bridges, roads, and small dams. Cory has been actively involved with Kevcor since 1990 and brings hands-on expertise, where periodically he provides expert witness, testimony and claims consulting services. He is a former Lieutenant, CEC, USN, licensed professional engineering in TX, NY, and CT, Major Contractor in CT, OSHA 30-hour Supervisor, OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPPER, Army Corps certified Quality Control Manager, and DBIA 101 certified. Cory holds a BSCE from the Virginia Military Institute and MBA-Finance from Columbia University.
Phil Bova
Corporate Safety
Phil brings 25 years hands-on experience in the in safety standards, training, audits and enforcement practices. His duties at Kevcor include: definition of our standards and practices in accordance with DOT, EPA, FAA, NFPA, EM 385-1-1 OSHA and MSHA standards; enforcement; Periodically Phil provides expert testimony and consulting in the defense of construction litigation including workers’ compensation working with counsel in preparing for mediation, or trial including conducting health and safety training on a routine basis to keep current with DOT, EPA, FAA, NFPA, EM 385-1-1 OSHA and MSHA regulations in accordance with The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Safety as well as all other States, and Federal Government.
Dennis Berry
Division 31 Site Civil
Dennis has 35 years experience in site work, development and heavy civil construction, and brings our team depth of hands-on project experience that includes construction and demolition of roads, highways, bridges, commercial and mixed use development, Government and institutional facilities, Department of Defense, and custom housing. Dennis is a certified equipment operator, P-7 licensed site contractor, licensed septic system contractor, OSHA 40-hour. and OSHA 30-hour. He is responsible administration of Kevcor's standardized operating procedures in conformance with regulatory and ISO standards, and leads our in-house training and development programs in safety, quality control, and trade certifications.
Ken Galyas
Division 6 Carpentry
Ken has 25 years experience in the General Superintendence and construction of prescriptive and engineered carpentry systems including work with the U.S. Navy (NAVFAC), U.S. Army (USACE), commercial, and residential construction projects throughout the United States. Kevcor carpentry services are performed through its sister company Native Framing, Inc., headquartered in North Carolina and which is a Native American Owned business enterprise. Ken is OSHA 30-hour certified and an OSHA certified instructor.
Aaron Gladieux
Division 4 Masonry
Aaron has 12 years hands-on experience in the General Superintendence and construction of footing and foundation systems including work with the U.S. Navy (NAVFAC), U.S. Army (USACE), commercial, and residential construction projects throughout the United States. He is a master mechanic mason by trade, and has worked throughout the United States. Aaron is 30-hour OSHA certified and Army Corps certified Quality Control Manager.
