Design / Build

Capital markets continuously press the limits on time, risk and reward. One of our industry's responses to this pressure is design / build. Kevcor has been on the leading-edge of design / build for over 20-years offering fully-integrated, fixed-price, bonded design / build solutions as an integral part of a general contractor team. This service is offered at business development phase of a project, where we are an integral part of the team. Our services are based in well documented, tested and proven operating, management, and safety protocols that are in keeping with ISO practices, and our personnel are trained and certified in their respective crafts. Kevcor team brings a demonstrated record of reliably getting difficult projects out of the ground competitively, on-schedule despite obstacles, and with confidence that the project delivery team will succeed. Our services add particular valuable to those general contractors developing, bidding or recently awarded projects involving transportation facilities on their critical path, environmentally sensitive conditions, fast-track design / build agreements with the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security, and public-private-partnerships.

Engineer-procure-construct is an amalgamation of delivery mechanisms found in alternative construction management and design / build strategies, the effect of which passes risk and reward to an Owner. It’s a value-added approach under certain circumstances, such as environmental remediation. Kevcor brings experience and technical project management expertise to firms entering into this space, with specialized skill in petroleum and wastewater process.

Public-private-partnership or 3P is an innovative financing tool with a lengthy, complex development cycle. Far more of these deals fall to the way-side than happen, and a developer can quickly spin its wheels with little effect. Kevcor offers hands-on working experience and business expertise in the development of public-private-partnerships in the southeast and southwest, where barriers to entry are manageable and State legislation readily enables this tool. Our experience is in transportation and housing, and our 3P core services include market research, business development, financial analysis and pro forma, risk analysis, strategic planning, team formation, legal and legislative support, Project Management and Controls, and design / build.
